White Bear Marketing is a team with combined experience in Marketing, Communications, Sales and Training. We have held Executive Level positions overseeing Marketing and Sales departments in a variety of sectors including nonprofit, sports, media, private sector, automotive, banking and as entrepreneurs and small-business owners. Our philosophy is that honesty and transparency help to build trust between both parties. The White Bear Theory
The motivation behind our name is based on a study called ironic processes theory; also known as the white bear theory.
Dr. Daniel Wegner, a thought suppression researcher, challenged a group to try not to think of a white bear. They were instructed to ring a bell anytime they thought of the bear within a 5-minute test period. The participants thought of a white bear an average of once per minute.
